The surface to be covered must be free of dust, grease or any other contaminant. Some materials such as polycarbonate may cause bubbling issues. A compatibility test is therefore recommended.

34% of energy is reflected at the surface, 25% transmitted, 41% absorbed. UV blocking reaches 47.5%, protecting interiors long-term.
