IR 50

IR 50 is designed for interior glazing where solar heat needs to be reduced without losing a clear view. It rejects 52% of total solar energy and 62% of infrared radiation. Its solar factor g of 0.48 means that 48% of solar energy still passes through the glazing and film assembly. Its extra clear blue grey appearance is discreet. It is suited to offices, shop windows, homes and public buildings where daylight and outward visibility need to be preserved. The film is wet applied to the inside of clean glazing using soapy water. To limit the risk of thermal stress, IR 50 is intended for monolithic glass, toughened glass and clear double glazing below 1.20 m². For larger double glazing or laminated glass, request technical approval or choose a product intended for exterior application. The film is supplied as a roll or by length depending on the selected format. It carries a 10 year warranty when installed and maintained in accordance with Reflectiv recommendations.
