A film designed for installer productivity
At 23 microns, Series C offers flexibility that makes heat-shrinking easier on curved rear windows and side windows with strong curvature. The film follows the shape of the glass with little resistance, which reduces heating time and limits the risk of creases. For an experienced installer, a full car can be completed in 2 to 3 hours, rear windows and rear screen included. The cut is clean, the film does not tear under the knife, and waste stripping is done without catching the installed surface. These are details that matter when several vehicles are processed in a day. A film that installs well is a film that lets you move on to the next customer faster.
35% visible light transmission: the right balance
At 35%, the glazing lets enough light through for the driver to maintain good rear visibility, while providing enough tint to reduce heat and glare inside the cabin. It is the tint level most requested by private customers: dark enough for the effect to be visible, light enough to remain comfortable every day. Heat rejection is immediate. The cabin heats up less in the sun, the air conditioning works less hard, and rear passengers are protected from direct radiation. The film also filters 99% of UV rays, which preserves leather, interior plastics and the health of occupants on long trips.
A homogeneous aesthetic finish
The tint of Series C is regular and consistent across the entire surface of the film. No density variation, no lighter or darker areas, no marbled effect. On a vehicle, all rear windows have exactly the same tint, which gives a uniform and professional result from the outside. The finish remains stable over time. Series C does not turn purple after a few years of exposure to the sun, a common defect with poor-quality films. The tint stays neutral and faithful to its original appearance throughout the life of the film.
Compliant with regulations
Series C is intended for rear side windows and the rear screen, where French regulations impose no restriction on tint. The film is not intended for front side windows or the windshield, which must keep a minimum of 70% visible light transmission. For which vehicles and which customers?
Series C covers the widest range. Private vehicles in single installations, company vans where the contents need to be hidden, small fleets of VTC or rental vehicles: it is the volume film par excellence. Its price positioning also makes it the logical choice for installers who are starting out and want to offer a quality service without cutting into their margins. Customers looking for a darker tint level or greater thickness will turn to Series P. Those who want the best thermal performance will move up to the EXLB ceramic series. Series C remains the ideal entry point: reliable, easy to install, guaranteed result.
