Description
The ELC 200 SteelGuard is a reinforced cable conduit sleeve designed for ELC 200 switchable privacy film installations on swing doors. Its purpose is simple: to secure the cable run between the frame and the door leaf without compromising the door's movement. When an ELC 200 film is installed on a door, the cables have to cross an area subjected to repeated movement.
Without suitable protection, this can lead to twisting, pinching or breakage over time. The flexible metal sleeve acts as mechanical protection:
– It absorbs opening and closing movements
– It protects the conductors against abrasion
– It prevents direct stress on the connections
– It improves the overall reliability of the installation
Its flexible metal structure allows natural movement while retaining enough rigidity to prevent the cables from being crushed.

The ELC 200 SteelGuard is used together with the FlexLine cable and the ELC 200 electrical packs to ensure a durable installation that meets the mechanical demands of a moving door. Product sold separately. Screws not included.
