The squeegee and the cutter cover 80% of jobs. The remaining 20% require something else. An impossible angle to reach, a body curve that allows no creases, a thick film that resists forming, temporary holding without adhesive during positioning. These are the situations specialized tools are made for. These are the accessories experienced installers add to their kit over time, when the basic kit is no longer enough.
Tools for complex installations
Wrapping tools
Wrapping involves covering curved surfaces and complex shapes: vehicle bodies, furniture, casings, non-flat architectural surfaces. Installing on these surfaces requires tools that flat glass applications do not.
Micro squeegees and finishing spatulas allow work in recesses, angles, and tight spaces where a standard squeegee cannot reach. Handle contours, panel joints, furniture edges: these areas are finished with a spatula, not a squeegee.
Tension and stretching tools help apply the film onto pronounced curves without creating creases. On a vehicle body, a fender, or a bumper, the film must conform to the shape without bubbles or wrinkles. The tension tool keeps the film stretched while the installer heats and progressively presses it down.
Holding magnets
Positioning a large sheet of film on vertical glass or a vehicle without it slipping, shifting, or falling while adjusting it is a common challenge that holding magnets eliminate. Place the magnets at the top of the film, they keep the sheet in position against the metal surface or window frame, allowing the installer to work with both hands free.
On vehicles, magnets are placed directly on the bodywork to hold the film during cutting and initial positioning. On glazing with metal frames, the same principle applies. It is a simple accessory that dramatically improves working comfort, especially when working alone.
Technical gloves
Direct hand contact with the film leaves grease and moisture marks that get trapped under the film after squeegeeing. On transparent films or PPF, these marks are visible and impossible to correct without removing and redoing the installation. Technical gloves eliminate this issue.
Our gloves are thin, fitted, and antistatic. They leave no marks or fibers on the film. Tactile sensitivity is preserved, allowing installers to feel bubbles, impurities, and film edges through the glove. It is an accessory that PPF and premium film installers consider as essential as the squeegee.
Precision tapes
Precision tape is used for masking, cutting guidance, and temporary holding during installation. On glazing projects, it marks installation lines and positioning references. On vehicles, it protects adjacent areas during film cutting with a blade. On decorative projects, it defines film zones and creates clean separation lines between different films.
Our tapes are designed for clean removal without residue, even after several hours. The tape leaves no adhesive on the film or the glass, avoiding additional cleaning at the end of the job.
