Professional cutters and blades

Heavy-duty locking cutters, snap-off blades, ceramic blades and refills. Everything you need for cutting all types of adhesive films.

The installer’s cutter is an extension of their hand. It’s held for hours every day, used on every glazing, and expected to deliver a clean cut every time. Our cutters and blades are selected for that purpose: stable grip, reliable locking, and blades that cut cleanly from the very first millimeter. Snap-off blades in hardened steel, long-lasting ceramic blades, and refills available in boxes of 10 and 50.

The simplest, most used, and most demanding tool

Professional cutters: what sets them apart from office cutters

An office cutter costs a couple of dollars and cuts paper. A professional cutter costs a bit more and cuts adhesive film on glass all day. The difference lies in the details that matter when working on multiple glazing jobs.

The blade locking mechanism does not move under pressure. When cutting a 200-micron security film, the blade must remain fixed, without play or shifting. A lock that fails mid-cut results in a crooked line and a film that has to be redone.

The body is made of metal or reinforced composite. It withstands drops onto tiles, impacts in a tool bag, and thousands of daily uses. A basic plastic cutter will crack after a few weeks of intensive use.

The grip is designed for long sessions. Anti-slip coating that works even with wet gloves, ergonomic shape that reduces wrist fatigue, and balanced weight that provides natural control. It’s the kind of comfort you don’t notice when it’s there—but you miss it when it’s not.

Snap-off blades: the standard consumable

The snap-off blade is the industry standard. One blade, multiple segments: when the edge dulls, you break off a segment and the next one is sharp. Fast, economical, and efficient. This is the system used daily by all installers.

Our snap-off blades are made from hardened steel for a longer-lasting edge between snaps. Available in two widths: 18 mm for general cutting on glass and standard films, and 9 mm for precision cuts, details, and tight curves.

Best practice: snap a segment between each glazing. For thick films such as security or PPF, snap between each cut. It costs just a few cents per segment and ensures a clean cut every time. Saving blades often results in more rework and lost time.

Ceramic blades: long-lasting sharpness

Ceramic blades do not dull like steel. Their edge stays consistent for much longer, reducing replacement frequency and ensuring uniform cutting quality throughout the blade’s lifespan.

They are especially suited for thin and decorative films where any cutting imperfection is visible. The ceramic edge glides through the film instead of tearing it, producing perfectly clean edges even on polyester and metallized films.

The downside: ceramic is more fragile than steel. A drop on a hard surface or excessive cutting force can chip the blade. It is a precision tool, not a force tool. For thick security films requiring pressure, steel blades remain the best choice.

Refills: never run out of blades

Running out of blades on a job site means either stopping work or continuing with a dull blade and producing poor results. Both options are bad. Keeping a stock of refills in your toolbox is a non-negotiable habit for professionals.

Our refills are packaged in boxes of 10 for quick replacement and boxes of 50 for workshop stock. Blade dispensers allow you to remove a new blade with one hand—no searching, no time lost. One motion, one blade, and back to work.
