Sol 102: high-reflection exterior film for demanding facades
On some buildings, exterior application is the only viable option, and the requirement goes beyond heat control: visibility from outside also needs to be addressed. Sol 102 meets that brief. Its reflective silver finish rejects 79% of total solar energy and creates an exterior reflection that reduces outside visibility during daylight hours.
Glazed office fronts, exposed commercial buildings, medical centres, corporate headquarters: wherever heat and outside views are both an issue, Sol 102 delivers a technical solution in a single application.
Technical performance
A solar factor g of 0.21 makes Sol 102 one of the most effective exterior films in the range. 65% of solar energy is reflected at the surface, 11% transmitted, 24% absorbed. The 20% VLT provides strong attenuation of direct light on heavily sun-exposed facades.
UV blocking reaches 99%, protecting interior furnishings and finishes long-term.
