Sandblasted glass effect on any glazing

Full frosted window films

Full frosted film is the Swiss‑army knife of decorative glazing. It blocks views from both sides, transmits over 80% of daylight, installs in minutes, and costs far less than factory sandblasted glass. It’s the most widely installed privacy film worldwide for offices, healthcare, bathrooms and public buildings. Our range offers multiple looks: acid‑etch for a premium engraved‑glass effect, ice finish for a softer texture, and classic white for stronger screening.

Full frosted film: the universal privacy solution for glazing

Why frosted film is the best-selling window film worldwide

The answer is simple: it’s easy, effective, and discreet. Applied to any smooth glazing, full frosted film instantly turns clear glass into a translucent surface. You can no longer see through it, yet daylight still passes. The room stays bright and open—without the enclosed feel that blinds or opaque partitions can create.

That balance makes it a default choice for architects, fit-out contractors and facility managers. Whenever you need privacy on glass without changing the light atmosphere or the aesthetic of the space, frosted film is usually the first option.

Acid-etch, ice or white: what’s the difference?

Acid-etch recreates the look of acid-etched glass: smooth, uniform, with a fine residual translucency that keeps light while hiding shapes. It’s the premium finish often used in corporate HQs, law firms and hotels.

Ice finish mimics frost on glass. It has a slightly more textured look than acid-etch and diffuses light more strongly. The feel is warmer and less “corporate”.

White is the most opaque: it blocks more light and hides shapes more completely. Choose it when privacy is the priority—medical practices, exam rooms, changing rooms and consultation areas.

One film, dozens of applications

In offices, full frosted film is a standard for glazed partitions. Installed as an eye-level band, it protects meeting rooms and executive offices without visually closing spaces. Applied full-height, it creates screened areas while preserving light flow.

In healthcare, it’s a functional requirement: consultation doors, waiting areas and treatment partitions rely on frosted film for confidentiality in bright, reassuring environments.

In public-access buildings, frosted film can help signal glazing and improve visibility. It can be combined with compliant warning bands or applied as a band for a more aesthetic result.

In hospitality and restaurants, it’s used on shower screens, room dividers, spa partitions and open-kitchen glass. Acid-etch is particularly valued for its elegant finish.

In retail, it can hide back rooms, technical areas and storage zones visible from the sales floor—without building walls.

Installation and maintenance

Installation is wet-applied: soapy water, positioning, then squeegee to push out water and bubbles. Full drying typically takes 2 to 4 weeks, but the frosted effect is visible immediately.

For cleaning, use a standard glass cleaner without ammonia and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges and metal scrapers that can scratch the surface.
