Transparent colored films
Add color to your glazing while preserving transparency. Create unique luminous atmospheres.
Energetic red, soothing blue, natural green, warm orange, bright yellow, deep violet: each film transforms the light passing through your glazing into a colored ambiance. The glass remains transparent, the view is preserved, but all the natural light entering the room takes on the tint of the film. The effect is immediate and the result spectacular, especially on large glazed surfaces exposed to sunlight. Easy wet installation, residue-free removal, and durability of 10 years or more indoors.
Everything you need to know about transparent colored films
The principle: color, not darkness
Transparent colored film works like a colored filter applied to glass. It absorbs certain wavelengths of visible light and lets others pass through, which gives the glazing its tint. Transparency is preserved: you can still see through, shapes and movements remain perceptible. Only the color of the light changes.
This is a fundamental difference from opaque or frosted film. Here, nothing is hidden, everything is colored. The space remains open and bright, but gains a strong visual identity. An entrance hall with a blue glazed panel looks like no other. A shop window with red attracts attention from across the street.
Six shades, six atmospheres
Our range of transparent colored films includes six bold colors, each designed for a specific use.
Red brings energy and presence. It works particularly well in commercial spaces, restaurants, and building entrances where you want to mark a transition. Blue is the most versatile shade: calm and professional, it fits equally well in offices, medical spaces, or spas. Green evokes nature and softens highly urban environments. It is often used in vegetated halls, relaxation areas, and restaurant glass roofs. Orange warms the light and creates a friendly atmosphere, ideal for coworking spaces and company cafeterias. Yellow enhances the feeling of natural brightness and energizes underexposed spaces. Violet adds a touch of sophistication, often chosen in hospitality, luxury boutiques, and event scenography.
For which projects and spaces?
Transparent colored films are used whenever you want to create ambiance through light without partitioning or darkening. The most common cases: shop windows to attract attention from the street, glass office partitions to visually differentiate areas in open spaces, glass roofs and atriums in tertiary buildings to give character to reception halls, wellness and hospitality spaces to create unique lighting atmospheres, and artistic or scenographic installations where colored light is central.
The film can be applied to both new and existing glazing. It is compatible with single glazing, double glazing, and tempered glass.
Installation and durability
Installation is done using the wet method, like all our adhesive films: soapy water, positioning, and squeegee application. No specific skills are required beyond standard film installation know-how. Full drying takes 2 to 4 weeks, but the colored effect is visible immediately.
Indoors, the color remains stable for more than 10 years. The film is UV-treated throughout its mass, preventing fading even on sun-exposed glazing. If you want to change or remove it, the film can be removed with a heat gun without leaving any residue on the glass.
