A strip that changes everything

Decorative strips for glazing

Bare glazing feels flat. Add a strip in the right place, and suddenly something happens. The eye is drawn in, the space gains structure, the glass starts telling a story. Our decorative strips are adhesive bands designed to enhance your glazing without covering it entirely. A frosted line running along a corridor, a colored strip bringing rhythm to a restaurant façade, a geometric pattern defining a workspace identity: just a few centimeters in height are enough to transform how a space is perceived. Multiple widths, multiple finishes, and all the creativity of our design studio.

Decorative strips: the art of detail on glass

Why choose a strip instead of a full film?

Because sometimes, detail makes the project. Covering an entire glass surface with film is one solution. Placing a precise strip in a strategic location is a design choice. The decorative strip does not hide the glass, it highlights it. It creates a guiding line that directs the eye and brings rhythm to what would otherwise be a plain surface.

An interior designer does not think in solid surfaces. They think in lines, proportions, and breathing space. The decorative strip is exactly that tool: a line placed in the right spot, at the right height, in the right material, that changes the visual balance of a room without altering anything else.

Frosted, color, pattern: three ways to mark the glass

Frosted strips create a line of diffused light on the glass. The strip captures natural light and redistributes it with the softness of sandblasted glass. It is the most subtle option, one that fits anywhere and appeals to everyone. In office corridors, hotel glass doors, or restaurant storefronts: frosted strips add elegance without overdoing it.

Colored strips are more expressive. A bright red line on a white façade, a deep blue strip across coworking partitions, an orange line running through a concept store window: color turns the strip into a strong graphic element. It is both a branding and decorative tool. When the strip uses a company’s signature color, it embeds the visual identity directly into the architecture.

Patterned strips push customization even further. Geometric shapes, lines, waves, or organic motifs: each pattern creates a unique visual rhythm along the entire length of the glass. A well-chosen design transforms a simple strip into a true decorative feature.

Playing with height and placement

The width of the strip dramatically changes the result. A thin line of 3 to 5 cm is subtle and almost graphic, adding a discreet accent. A strip of 10 to 15 cm has more presence, visible from across the room, creating a strong visual line. Beyond 20 cm, it becomes a more assertive feature, closer to a band-style film.

Position matters just as much as width. A strip placed at eye level draws attention and creates an immediate reference point. Positioned at the top, it highlights the transom line and visually elongates the wall. At the bottom, it anchors the glazing and gives visual weight to the partition. Some projects combine multiple strips at different heights to create layered effects, like an abstract landscape.

Standalone or in composition

A strip works perfectly on its own on clear glass. This is the minimalist version of glass decoration: a single, well-placed element that gives character to the surface.

But it is in composition that decorative strips truly shine. A full frosted film in the center for privacy, framed above and below by patterned strips. A transparent colored film across the entire surface, intersected by a frosted strip for texture contrast. Two strips of different colors at offset heights creating a barcode-like effect. The possibilities are endless, and this is often where projects become truly interesting.

Inspiration and applications

In offices, geometric strips on glass partitions create a distinct floor identity. The same pattern repeated across all partitions builds visual consistency that employees instantly recognize. One floor, one pattern, one color: an elegant wayfinding system without signage.

In hospitality, frosted strips on glass doors and room dividers add a premium finish at a lower cost. The sandblasted glass effect always makes an impression in lobbies or restaurants.

In retail, a colored strip on the storefront is a powerful visual merchandising tool. It structures the display, guides the passerby’s eye, and frames featured products. With seasonal changes, simply replace one color with another: quick refresh, minimal cost.

In restaurants, patterned strips on glass dividers between tables create privacy with style. Lighter than a partition screen, brighter than curtains, and far more elegant than temporary dividers.
