Safety window films
Security films reinforce the cohesion of glass in the event of impact, hold shattered fragments together, and delay break-ins. A discreet and effective solution for professional spaces, retail environments, and public buildings. Depending on the required level of protection, our films are available in three ranges: standard security films (100–175 microns) for versatile protection, high-security films (250–450 microns) for sensitive sites, and ballistic explosion-resistant films (>400 microns) for critical infrastructure.

Standard security films
Versatile protection for offices and retail spaces. A solution suited for professional glazing.

High-security films
Enhanced protection for sensitive sites. Maximum performance against break-ins.

Explosion-resistant films
Maximum protection for critical infrastructure. Ballistic and blast-resistant performance.
Everything you need to know about safety window films
Protection against impacts and break-ins
Security films strongly adhere to the glass surface and keep glass fragments bonded together in case of breakage. During an impact, the glass cracks but remains in place, which limits debris projection and significantly reduces the risk of serious injury.
In the event of a break-in attempt, the film significantly delays intrusion into the premises. The glazing gives way less easily, which deters the intruder or allows security teams time to intervene. It is a solution particularly valued in retail stores, banks, educational institutions, and sensitive sites.
Safety standards and certifications
Our security films comply with European standards EN 12600, which classify resistance to pendulum impact, and EN 356 for resistance to manual break-in. High-security films benefit from classifications P2A, P3A, P4A, and P5A, while explosion-resistant films comply with ISO 16933 and ASTM F1642 standards.
These certifications guarantee measurable and verifiable levels of protection, essential for public tenders, insurance requirements, and compliance for public buildings (ERP - Establishments Receiving the Public). Each product is accompanied by its complete technical datasheet and test reports.
Installation and professional application
Installing a security film requires thorough surface preparation and an appropriate squeegee technique to ensure optimal adhesion. For high-security and explosion-resistant films, a mechanical fixing system on the frame is often required to anchor the film and prevent it from detaching under the pressure of a violent impact.
Complete drying of the film takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on climatic conditions. During this period, the adhesive gradually polymerizes and reaches its maximum strength. Our films benefit from a manufacturer’s warranty of 10 years for interior installation and 7 years for exterior installation.
Applications and sectors
Security films are mainly used in businesses exposed to burglary risks (jewelry stores, pharmacies, luxury boutiques), banking institutions, administrative and government buildings, schools and universities, as well as sensitive industrial sites.
In the tertiary sector, they help secure internal glass partitions and meet regulatory requirements in terms of fire safety and personal protection. Explosion-resistant films are reserved for embassies, military sites, energy plants, and critical infrastructure.
