The Rear Projection Film is a self-adhesive film that can transform any window or glass partition into a display screen when projecting a video on the surface, using a projector. It will provide a bright and clear picture, visible from both sides of the glass.
This film can be used in offices, as well as a signage display for shops or to be used during events and exhibitions.
Expected durability :
The expected vertical outdoor durability of the unprocessed product in central Europe (Zone 1) is up to: 5 years.
This information is based on successful real life experience.
Note : Exposure to severe temperatures and ultraviolet light, as well as conditions in Southern European countries, and also in tropical, sub-tropical or desert regions, will cause a more rapid deterioration. This also applies to polluted areas, high altitude, horizontal and/or south-facing exposure.
Video projection :
The quality of the projected image will also depend on the power of the projector used.
For a rear projection indoors, we recommend to use a projector with a power of minimum 2.000 lumen per m2.
For a rear projection on an external window, a minimum of 6.000 lumen per m2 is recommended, and in direct sunlight, an intensity of min 8.000 lumen per sqm is required.
The glass surface to be glued on has to be free from dust, grease or other contaminants. Some specific materials such as polycarbonate can cause air bubble problems. Therefore, a compatibility test is recommended. For more precision we recommend to refer back to the application table.
In order to constantly improve our production we may change a product colour and manufacturing process without prior notice. Before applying our products we recommend that our users ensure that the film is suitable for the intended use and comply with current standards.
In order to maintain the high level of quality, we do not recommend mixing different film productions when applying films
